Oursync

FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most.

What is Oursync?

Oursync is one shared calendar for two people. You propose a plan, and it books only into time that's free for both of you — so you never double-book, and you never have to reveal your private schedule to each other.

How does the privacy part work?

Oursync only works with your busy and free time slots. It never reads or stores your event titles, locations, notes, or guests. When your partner proposes a plan, they only learn whether a time works — never what you're busy with.

Do I need a partner to use it?

No. You can start using Oursync on your own and invite your partner whenever you're ready. The app works fine for one person and unlocks shared planning once someone accepts your invitation.

How do I connect with my partner?

Open the Partner tab and send your partner an invite link. When they accept, the two of you share one calendar (a “circle”) and can start proposing plans together.

What do the plan statuses mean?

A plan that's free for both books immediately as “awaiting confirmation.” Your partner can then confirm or decline it. You'll also see “confirmed,” “declined,” and “cancelled” states so you always know where a plan stands.

How do I delete my account?

Email us at support@oursync.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll remove your account and associated data, apart from anything we're required to keep by law.

Is Oursync available now?

Oursync is coming soon to the App Store. If you'd like to be notified when it launches, email us and we'll let you know.
