Terms of Service

Oursync is a tool that helps partners, mainly couples, schedule events into times that are free for both of them, without either person having to track or reveal the other’s schedule. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time as we develop the app.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Oursync. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date.

When using Oursync, you agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
• Harass, abuse, or send unwanted or harmful content to another person through the app
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the service
• Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app except as permitted by law

If someone you are connected with behaves this way, you can disconnect from them at any time in the app, and you can report the behavior to us at email us.

You keep ownership of the events and information you create in Oursync. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process that information so we can provide the service to you and your connected partner, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We work to keep Oursync available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error free. We may suspend or limit the service for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.

Oursync is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will meet your requirements or that scheduling results will always be free of errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oursync and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or your inability to use it.

You can stop using Oursync and delete your account at any time from the account section of the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the app in a way that could harm other users or the service.

If you download Oursync from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

• These terms are between you and Oursync only, not Apple. Oursync, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any support or maintenance for the app.
• Apple is not responsible for any product warranties. If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the app.
• Oursync, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, and claims that the app infringes someone else's rights.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You agree to comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Nothing here limits any consumer protection rights you may have that cannot be waived under the law where you live.

We may update these terms as the app evolves. When changes are material, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Oursync after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
